CWP Energy is at the forefront of wind energy development in the UK with over 2 GW built, under construction and in development. As renewable energy specialists, we are fully experienced in the identification, design, development, construction and operation of onshore wind energy projects. We are expanding our finance department, and an opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join the team, based in our Head Office in Frodsham, Cheshire.
Duties will include:
Production of monthly management accounts for various businesses including detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial and operational performance of the business.
Supporting the Year-end and the Audit process for the various Group companies
Supporting the finance team in the submission of financial models to the banks.
Invoice processing on sales and purchase ledgers
VAT returns submissions and dealing with HMRC queries.
CIS returns and dealing with sub-contractors for our property construction businesses.
Bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.
Supporting the team in annual budgeting and P & L forecasting process.
Communication with suppliers, customers, lenders, and key stakeholders.
Skills required:
Min qualifications: ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or similar qualifications with min 1 years of Post qualification experience.
Good team player
Query solving/problem resolution skills.
Strong communication skills both with peers and senior management.
Flexibility
Experience of Sage Line 50
Advanced Excel user.
The position is full time, permanent, and office-based, with an immediate start and the salary is competitive, based on qualifications and experience. A local candidate would be preferred.
