Our Internship Programmes

CWP ENERGY are champions of inclusion, diversity, and opportunity. For over two decades, we have endeavoured to make the renewable energy sector an accessible career choice for students, graduates, and professionals. CWP Energy’s work placements are designed primarily for engineering students who are pursuing careers in the renewable energy industry, and we proudly partner with Ayrshire College and West College Scotland.

Placements at our Head Office provide students with an understanding of the full project life-cycle, development techniques, asset management, and the role engineers play in the design and operation of renewable energy assets. CWP ENERGY also has a partnership with The University of Chester, providing one 5-week work placement to a 2nd year geography-focused student each year.

Previous students who have attended our placements have gone on to employment within the industry; some becoming turbine technicians whilst others have taken on project development roles.

If you are seeking a new career in the renewable energy sector, CWP Energy welcomes speculative enquires in relation to careers, so please send your CV and Covering Letter to [email protected]
