CWP Energy is at the forefront of wind energy development in the UK with over 2 GW built, under construction and in development. As renewable energy specialists, we are fully experienced in the identification, design, development, construction and operation of onshore wind energy projects. We are looking to recruit a graduate searching for a career within the renewable energy industry, ideally with 2 years’ work experience.

Applicants with a Geographical, Ecological or Renewable Energy related degree are preferable as well having some experience of general office administration. The role will involve working with our Project Development Team to identify, design and develop renewable energy projects in Scotland and the UK and will involve travel to these locations to attend meetings, undertake assessments and carry out site visits, hence a valid full driving license is essential. The position is full time, based at our Head Office in Frodsham, Cheshire and we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Using GIS software to generate plans, scale drawings and to complete constraint assessments (Note: experience of using ArcPro and AutoCAD would also be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided).
• Producing feasibility assessments
• Using specialist software to design and develop wind farms projects
• Undertaking onsite field work and preparing various environmental written reports
• Attend meetings and community exhibitions as part of our consultation work
• Delivering educational school presentations on renewable energy
• Assisting the Directors and colleagues with tasks as required
• General office duties to support the business including answering the telephone and taking messages, and any other errands as required.

As the role will include site visits throughout the UK, a valid full driving license is essential.
