Educational Presentations

Through workshops and presentations, we dedicate ourselves to inspiring young people and enriching their education.

School Presentations

Members of the CWP Energy Team deliver school presentations that revolve around renewable energy and climate change. The tailored presentations enrich curriculum learning and offer interactive elements such as quizzes or getting to grips with health and safety aspects by trying on climbing equipment worn by wind turbine technicians. Presentations are delivered to schools in communities surrounding our projects.

Career Advice

CWP Energy also deliver careers-based workshops, in partnership with Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) branches in Scotland. The Work Ready Days, offered in secondary schools, introduce pupils to numerous further education opportunities and potential career paths.

CWP Energy employees enlighten the pupils to the various careers within renewable energy, spanning from technical or operational jobs to project management positions, financial, legal and commercial opportunities, and careers focused on social media, public relations, event management and communications.

Wind Farm visits

Over the years, our operational wind farms have been utilised to support education about renewable energy, with guided wind farm visits organised.

Wind Farm visits have taken place at our Dalry, Aikengall and Sanquhar Wind Farms, with both pupils and teachers revelling in the opportunity to stand underneath the turbines.
