BeGreen Centres

BeGreen Dunbar Advice Centre

Founded in 2008, our unique BeGreen Energy Advice Centres bridge the gap between host communities and the economic benefits and investments available to them.
BeGreen’s Community Coordinator, Anouska Woods and BeGreen’s Energy Assessor Eldon Woods, work in tandem to deliver energy assessments, household energy grants and community funding. To reduce energy bills and boost efficiency, an energy grant from BeGreen can help local residents install:

• Insulation
• Solar panels
• Battery Storage System
• An EV charging point
• Air & Ground Heat Pumps

BeGreen Dunbar receives annual funding from CWP Energy’s Aikengall and Aikengall II operational wind farm developments. This community investment funding has supported numerous groups, charities, organisations and individuals. From supporting school trips and sponsoring local athletes to installing defibrillators and refurbishing village halls.

Based on Dunbar High Street, our BeGreen office has been at the heart of the local community for over 15 years. As well as our various grant funding we are also a place where people can have a chat and be referred to other supporting agencies. Our window and meeting space can also be booked free of charge for local groups and organisations to use to raise their profile or fundraise.

If you would like to discuss potential grant funding applications, please email your enquiry to [email protected]
