CWP ENERGY is evolving and expanding and our support, investment and commitment to host communities will continue to increase.
Some key community investments which CWP ENERGY have supported in Scottish host communities are detailed below.
In addition, we hold Family Open Days at Dalry and Aikengall Wind Farms, providing a valuable opportunity for local communities to visit the wind farms and enjoy family entertainment.
By channelling the community investments through local councils, accountable trusts and community groups, we vow to continue to:
• Nurture the relationships we have built with the trusts, councils, and community groups that receive benefits from our developments.
• Consult with local people to ensure that the available funding is delivered in the most effective manner.
• Work alongside stakeholders in the community to identify opportunities for new facilities, augmented services, and more.

Pamela Stewart, Deputy Chief Executive of Advice Direct Scotland, said that the East Lothian Energy Fund helped prevent people from “being forced to choose between heating and eating”. Remarking on the impact of the fund, Minister for Housing Paul McLennan MSP said that the East Lothian Energy Fund came at a time when people were most vulnerable, commending CWP Energy and Advice Direct Scotland for the support for people in the cost-of-living crisis.
We are committed to working closely with local communities, landowners, and all stakeholders in relation to our renewable energy developments. If you would like further information or have an enquiry, please get in touch.
