Pamela Stewart, Deputy Chief Executive of Advice Direct Scotland, remarked that the Dalry Energy Fund was “invaluable” to households struggling during the cost-of-living crisis, particularly households with pensioners, children living in poverty, and people living with cancer.

James Dobbie, Trustee at Preston and Abbey Community Trust, said: “We thank the entire team for the wonderful support they have given us. They have helped greatly to create a lasting legacy for Abbey St Bathans with a building that I’m certain will last even longer than the original.

Betty Wilson, Guide Leader for North Ayrshire Guides, shared her appreciation for CWP Energy’s financial backing: “Their donations and input should not be underestimated. Without them this just would not have been possible.”

Richard Copland, Chair of the Community Shop Management Committee in Cockburnspath, thanked CWP Energy for their efforts and expertise: “Since the village store closed in February (2020), we’ve worked tirelessly to make the shop a reality. It’ll attract many new customers, as it offers something bespoke for tourists and walkers from the Southern Upland Way.”

Steven Horswell, Dalry Group Scout Leader, complimented the role that CWP Energy played in making the project a reality: “None of this would have been possible without the huge financial donation and on-going support. They have all been very supportive and helpful and we thank them for that.”

Craig Crosthwaite, Coordinator at NA Foodbank, said of CWP Energy: “We thank them for their continued support and generosity. Their support has been invaluable to help us make healthy, nutritious and warm meals including curries, pasta dishes and stews, alongside vegetarian options. We’re continually working with local authorities and other charitable organisations to reach as many people as possible, particularly the most vulnerable people in our community.”

Murray MacDonald, founder of Autism on the Water, said: “We can’t thank them enough for the amazing funding they have given us to use. Their support, like with all our sponsors, enables our charity to continue providing people with autism with free sailing and boating activities on the water.”

Dayne Moore, Community Manager at Let’s Get Sporty, said: “We have developed a strong working relationship with the company, allowing us to deliver numerous sessions to local primary schools across various areas in the region, encouraging children and young people to stay active and engaged in activities. Their support also enhances opportunities for local children and young people participating in our Let’s Get Employed programme.”
